Ben Fahrbach’s slideshow: Chatard vs. Cathedral

ISL’s Ben Fahrbach took photos at the Chatard-Cathedral game on Friday. These are 10 shots of the first half before the rain came and forced the second half of the game played at Lawrence Central to be pushed to Saturday. Class 3A No. 1 Chatard led 7-0 at halftime and went on to beat 4A No. 1 Cathedral 21-7.

2 Hartley helped off the field by fellow senior teamates — Chatard’s Pete Hartley is helped off the field. He ran for 122 yards in the first half against Cathedral.

Pete Hartley ran for 152 yards on 27 carries and came back after going down late in the first half with a knee injury. The Trojans improved to 4-0 on the year and staked its claim to being one of the best teams in the state, regardless of class.
