All 82 Indiana Pacers regular-season games to be televised
From the Indiana Pacers
INDIANAPOLIS – For the first time in franchise history, all 82 Indiana Pacers regular-season games will be televised this season as FOX Sports Indiana will carry 77 of those games along with two preseason games. The remaining five games will be televised by either TNT or ESPN.
The FOX Sports Indiana schedule will get underway in the preseason when the Pacers host Memphis, Oct. 20, in Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The final preseason game will also be televised when the Pacers meet Chicago at South Bend, Ind. on Oct. 26.
When the regular season begins Oct. 31, FOX Sports Indiana will be there as the Pacers visit Toronto. FOX Sports Indiana will also carry the opening home game, Saturday, Nov. 3, when the Pacers host Sacramento.
Like Pacers fans, we’re excited to tip off the season after 2012’s thrilling playoff run, FOX Sports Indiana General Manager and Senior Vice President Jack Donovan said. This is our biggest Pacers schedule ever, and every game will be in high definition and begin and end with the ˜Pacers Live’ pre and postgame shows.
With the increased interest in Indiana Pacers basketball, having every game televised is great for the franchise and the commitment from our partners at FOX Sports Indiana to carry 79 total games is a great one for our fans, Pacers vice president of broadcasting Jamie Berns said. Our ratings were up after last season’s strong performance by the team, and we hope those two things will go hand-in-hand again this season.
Chris Denari will handle play-by-play duties for his seventh straight season and will be joined by veteran analyst Quinn Buckner and former Pacers player Austin Croshere. Brooke Olzendam will be in her second season as pregame and postgame host and sideline reporter.
