Colts giving away 2,500 tickets to support Fever in WNBA Finals
From the Indiana Fever
INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts host the Cleveland Browns on Sunday afternoon, but by Sunday night you can be assured that Colts stars Antoine Bethea, Robert Mathis, Pat McAfee, Jerraud Powers and Reggie Wayne will once again be cheering the Indiana Fever toward a hopeful WNBA championship.
Together, the Colts quintet has purchased 2,500 upper level tickets to donate to fans wanting to attend Sunday night’s WNBA Finals Game 4 (8:00 p.m., ESPN2, 1070 The Fan). An Indiana victory on Sunday evening would clinch the city’s first professional basketball championship since the 1973 Indiana Pacers in the ABA.
Fever fans may collect up to a maximum four tickets per person beginning at noon on Saturday at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse Box Office. Additional balcony tickets may be purchased for $10. Fans are once again encouraged to wear RED to Sunday’s game, the same as they did Friday when they recorded the Fever’s third sellout crowd (18,165) in as many Finals games in its history. Another sellout audience is anticipated.
Four of the five Colts stars were a part of Friday’s capacity crowd at Bankers Life Fieldhouse for a 76-59 Fever victory that gave Indiana a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five-game championship series.
