Fever roll past Lynx 76-59 to take 2-1 lead in WNBA Finals

INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana is one win away.
The Fever defeated Minnesota 76-59 on Friday night in Game 3 of the WNBA FinalsĀ and can clinch their first title Sunday at home.
Shavonte Zellous scored 30 points, Tamika Catchings had 17 points and Erlana Larkins added 10 points and 15 rebounds. Indiana led by 37 at one point, the largest lead by a team in Finals history.
Here are the combined stats forĀ Minnesota’s three Olympians, Maya Moore, Seimone Augustus and Lindsay Whalen: 8-for-24 shooting, 21 points, two assists, eight turnovers, seven fouls.
The Fever have been here before. They led Phoenix 2-1 in 2009, then lost the series 3-2. Catchings said she told the team not to celebrate after the win in Game 3.
