Primetime matchup with Giants highlights Colts preseason schedule

The Indianapolis Colts will face the New York Giants August 18 in a primetime preseason matchup at Meadowlands Stadium, the NFL announced as it released exhibition schedules Thursday.
The Sunday night contest featuring quarterbacks Andrew Luck of the Colts and Eli Manning of the Giants will be broadcast at 8 p.m. on FOX.
The Colts will open their four-game preseason slate hosting the Buffalo Bills at Lucas Oil Stadium between Aug. 8-12. The Cleveland Browns will visit Indianapolis in preseason week three between Aug. 22-25.
Indianapolis will close out the preseason with a trip to Cincinnati to face the Bengals at Paul Brown Stadium on Aug. 29 or 30. The Colts and Bengals have met in the preseason finale the past 11 seasons, including a year ago when Indy topped Cincinnati 20-16.
The regular season will open Sept. 5 with the Super Bowl-champion Baltimore Ravens facing a to-be-announced opponent in a primetime game. The NFL is expected to announce the full regular-season schedule on April 16.
