WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Augusta Sports Council has announced that Purdue’s Cody Webster has been named one of three finalists for the 2013 Ray Guy Award. The Ray Guy Award has been presented to the nation’s top punter on a yearly basis since 2000. Memphis’ Tom Hornsey and Texas A&M’s Drew Kaser are the other two finalists.
Webster, a senior from Harrisburg, Pa., is first in the Big Ten and 19th in the Football Bowl Subdivision in punting average (43.5).
