Mahlmann’s Photo Gallery: Purdue Sweet 16 Win Over Tennessee

LOUISVILLE, KY — ISL photographer Trevor Mahlmann was on hand as the 3 seed Purdue Boilermakers took on the 2 seed Tennessee Volunteers in the Sweet 16. The game was played in the KFC Yum! Center, home to the University of Louisville basketball team. This was the third consecutive Sweet 16 appearance for Purdue, the first streak of such length since the 1998-2000 run led by Brian Cardinal — a run that ended with an Elite 8 appearance. Thursday night, Purdue copied that streak and defeated Tennessee 99-94 in overtime to advance to the Elite 8 where they’ll face Virginia Saturday night. With the win, Trevor will be back Saturday for the game and you can find his photos here following the game.
