INDIANAPOLIS — Tyrese Haliburton made a lot of history in the 2023-2024 season. The star point guard put the Pacers back on the NBA (and Indianapolis fans’) map this season, and his eye-popping stats deserved their own column. The tracker was slowed by injuries a few times, but it’s quite impressive to look at all of his accomplishments throughout the season.

Here’s a timeline tracker of all of those historically good moments for Tyrese Haliburton in one place.


•November 4th– Haliburton became the first player in Pacers NBA history with 40+ points and 10+ assists in a game.

•November 12th– Haliburton  recorded 25 points, 17 assists, and 0 turnovers against Philadelphia. He became the third-youngest player in NBA history with 25+ points and 15+ assists with no turnovers, joining Allen Iverson and Chris Paul.

•November 14th–  Haliburton puts together a 33 point, 15 assist, zero turnover performance against Philadelphia, becoming just the fourth player in NBA history to to have a 30/15/0 game.

•November 21st– Pacers win a wild game in Atlanta, and Haliburton scores 37 points to go along with 16 assists. Haliburton joined James Harden as the only players in NBA history to have 35+ points, 15+ assists, and 9+ 3’s in a game.

•November 30th– At the end of November, Haliburton joined LeBron James and Michael Jordan as the only players in league history to average at least 25 points and 10 assists per game while shooting 50 and 40 percent from the floor and three-point range in a single month.

•December 4th– Haliburton recorded his first career triple-double with 26 points, 10 rebounds, 13 assists, and 0 turnovers in a 122–112 win against Boston. He became just the third player since the league began tracking turnovers (’77-’78) to record 25+ points, 10+ rebounds, and 10+ assists in a single game without turning the ball over at age 23 or younger.

•December 28th– Haliburton becomes the first player in NBA history to record 20+ points, 20+ assists, and 5+ 3PM in a game, and also becomes the second player in NBA history to record 20+ points, 20 assists and 0 turnovers in a game, joining Chris Paul (2016).

•December 30th– Haliburton ties a franchise record with 23 assists, and becomes just the third player in NBA history to have consecutive 20 point, 20 assist nights.

•Dec 26-Jan 3– Haliburton puts up 76 assists and 7 turnovers during a 5-game winning streak- becoming the first player ever with that many assists and that few turnovers over a five game stretch.

•January 3rd– Haliburton puts up 31 points, 12 assists, five 3’s, three blocks, and zero turnovers- joining Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only players in NBA history with those numbers in a game. Haliburton is the only player to do it while also knocking down five 3’s.

•January 19th- After missing five games and playing for the first time in 11 days, Haliburton returns to action with a stat line of 21 points, 17 assists, and 0 turnovers. It’s already the sixth game of his career with 20+ points, 15+ assists, and 0 turnovers… the most in NBA history.

•January 25th- Haliburton is named an All-Star starter, becoming just the fourth Pacer to ever receive that honor. Haliburton joins Reggie Miller, Jermaine O’Neal, and Paul George.

April 5th– Haliburton sets the all-time Pacers franchise record for assists in a season. The record was previously held by Mark Jackson, who held the record with 713 assists back in 1998. Haliburton set the new mark playing in his 65th game of the season. Jackson played in all 82 games in ’98.

April 14th– Haliburton finished the regular season as one of just three players in NBA history to make at least 195 3-pointers and record 750 or more assists in one season.

•April 26th– Haliburton became just the fourth Pacer to ever record a triple-double in a playoff game. He also recorded the second most assists in franchise history for a playoff game.

•April 28th– Haliburton joined Oscar Robertson as the only players in NBA history to average 15+ points, 10+ assists, and 5+ rebounds in their first four career playoff games.

May 10th– Haliburton becomes the fifth player in NBA history to record 30+ points and six+ 3’s in back-to-back postseason games.

May 21st– Haliburton ties the NBA record for most 3’s in a Conference Finals debut with six.

May 22nd– Haliburton is named to ALL-NBA 3rd team. It’s the 12th time a Pacer was named to an All-NBA team in franchise history. Haliburton joined Magic Johnson, John Stockton, Steve Nash, and James Harden as the only All-NBA Players to lead the league in assists and shoot 60% TS in a season.
